Package

To package your theme for testing you run the package form, there are three code blocks, the first will go in your functions.php, if you do not have one in your themes folder then there is an empty one in the addons folder, just drop this into the themes folder.

Then add the code as instructed on the form, if you want the sidebars after the themes sidebars then find the code that creates the sidebars and add the three lines after this code block.

The lower block of code is all the settings you have been making as you created your files, this goes into a file included in the folder, you can se this from the editor just like the other files, copy to the clipboard all the code in this text area.

find the file paste in the code and save the file.

That is it you can now setup the website with data.

    Cody,
Also you could zip up the theme folder with all files and send it to me, I will have a look but that would not be until Friday later this week.

  • Thanks David, I created the theme with 2.4 so that may be the issue. I am just practicing with the current theme so it is not crucial. My ultimate goal is to convert the theme into a buddypress compatible theme. The cms lite plugin would be great for a buddypress site.

    Hi Cody,
Are you using an artisteer theme, if so which version of Artisteer did you create your theme with?

The plugin was written and tested on an Artisteer 2.3 theme, there is now a beta 2.4 when this reaches the final release stage then I will re-visit the plugin to test compatibility and add new features for template layouts, graphics and different options.

  • First of all, Thank you for this great plugin. However, I am having some issues after I go through all of the steps. I am getting the following error "Warning: Missing argument 2 for art_normalize_widget_style_tokens(), called in ...\functions.php on line 338". I have been attempting to fix the problem and can not seem to figure out what happened. There is a support topic at Wordpress.org, but the fix did not seem to work for me, atleast not entirely. The support forum can be found at the following address http://wordpress.org/support/topic/256707
    Thank you,
    Jason
